If you're using an unlimited data plan, you can easily extend its duration according to your travel needs using the holiday.com app or website. It’s quick, easy, and doesn’t require any further installation or setup.
To avoid any gaps in service during your trip, we recommend extending your plan before your current unlimited data plan expires.
Note: This applies specifically to unlimited data plans. If you have purchased a fixed data bundle, you will need to top up your data allocation instead. Since unlimited plans do not run out of data allocation, you only need to extend their duration.
How to extend your data plan in the holiday.com app
For your own eSIM:
- Open the holiday.com app and select the Add Destination option.
- Select your destination.
- Select an Unlimited data plan and choose your desired duration (e.g., 3, 7, 10, 15, or 30 days). If redeeming a coupon, choose the option that matches your coupon code.
- Select Next and select Myself.
- Tap Next to proceed to checkout and complete the purchase.
For another eSIM:
- Open the holiday.com app and select the Add Destination option.
- Select your destination.
- Select an Unlimited data plan and choose your desired duration. If redeeming a coupon, choose the option that matches your coupon code.
- Select Next.
- Tap Others and choose the name of the eSIM that you want to extend.
- Tap Next to proceed to checkout and complete the purchase.
Once you complete the purchase, the extension will be applied to the selected eSIM. Please ensure you activate and use the data plan within 365 days of purchase.
How to extend your data plan on the holiday.com website
- Go to portal.holiday.com and select your destination.
- Pick Unlimited Data and choose your desired duration (3, 7, 10, 15, or 30 days) from the dropdown menu.
- Select Myself if you’re extending a plan for your own eSIM, or Others if you’re extending a plan for another eSIM.
- Sign in to your holiday.com account or create one using Google or Apple, then choose Continue.
- Add a payment method and complete your purchase.
Once you complete the purchase, the extension will be applied to the selected eSIM. Please ensure you activate and use the data plan within 365 days of purchase.
Reminder
Any duration purchased as an extension will be added as a separate data plan under the same eSIM. The extended plan will have its own validity period, matching the duration you just purchased.
No worries, the extended plan will remain inactive until your original unlimited data plan has expired. Once your current plan expires, the extended plan will activate automatically, and its new validity period will begin so you can stay connected seamlessly!
