Both our Data Plans and Data Bundles are one-time, prepaid purchases designed for a specific destination and a fixed duration. Neither option requires a subscription, and they will never automatically renew.
The only difference between the two is how much data you get:
Data Plans (Unlimited) - A Data Plan provides you with unlimited data for the duration of your trip.
- Best for: Heavy internet users, streaming, remote work, or anyone who wants the peace of mind of never running out of data.
- How it works: You purchase the plan for a specific country and duration (e.g., 7 days in Japan). You get unlimited data for that entire timeframe, and it simply expires when the time is up.
Data Bundles (Limited) - A Data Bundle provides a set, limited amount of data (such as 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB) to use over a specific timeframe.
- Best for: Light internet users, budget-conscious travelers, or those who only need data for occasional maps, messaging, and quick searches.
- How it works: You purchase a specific data cap for your destination. The bundle expires either when you use up all your data, or when the time limit is reached—whichever comes first.
- In short: If you want unlimited access, choose a Data Plan. If you only need a specific amount of data for light use, choose a Data Bundle.
